  1. So did Federer

And Rafa still won so I'm happy and so is he :-))

  2. Ditto, So did Mr King Of Grass Roger Federer. !!! Rafa won that match fair and square he deserved too. His previous performances at Wimbledon were amazing and the way he`s improved on grass he was definitely the best player at wimbledon. You just knew when he came straight from the French winning in Queens beating big grass court players that he had a great chance to win Wimbledon and he took down Mr Federer who is  arguably the best player on grass. Im soooo happy for him and what he`s achieved he`s absolutely amazing. Love him xxxxxx

Do you think Roger will ever win the French ? Seems a more appropriate question.

  3. Well, it is an element to the outdoor game, like shadows, air traffic overhead, wind, etc. Players at that level have had matches in all types of conditions over the years, but lighting woes will mostly take them back to their junior days.

  4. Lighting is NOT an element in tennis that players need to contend with!!! I can understand heat, rain and windy conditions but to suggest that a professional tennis player has to contend with the forces of bad lighting when they are playing a match, is simply absurd.

You don't even have to be a professional tennis player to know that when there is hardly much light left, it becomes very difficult to play, because you really cannot see the ball.

I remember when I used to play with my dad when I was younger, whenever 6 o' clock came and the sun was slowly setting, it would always be harder for us to play because as it gets darker, we weren't able to see the ball clearly. Sometimes you would feel as if you're just sticking your racket out in the hope that you hit the ball and once that happens then you won't even know if the ball would fall in or not, because if you can't clearly see the ball, you're timing of your shots automatically falls apart.

Therefore lighting should never be an issue for any professional tennis player to have to contend with. Besides, for the richest tournament in the world, it is a complete shame that this problem only occurs at Wimbledon every year!!!

  5. It was too dark at the end of that match.  They should've suspended play at 5-5 in the 5th set or 6-6

  6. Check this person's points tally and best answers.  Its impersonation.
