  1. a few months, definitely.

  2. till next year

  3. i think in september after u.s open

  4. I think he'll have the number one spot by the start of 2009 :-)

    Vamos Rafa xx

  5. never or i think once he has reached 90 yrs of his age

  6. i think perhaps we will see constant fluctuations of the who is no1 between fed / nadal, simply because both players can only beat each other and no-else can beat them. it will probably go p and down until fed reaches the age where he ain't moving as well as he can now.

  7. I don't know. Federer.. possibly the best male tennis player ever?? and when he is defeated once at wimbledon after 5 years his number 1 spot is stolen?

    Its confusing to me.

I adore Rafa however Federer, to me, still remains #1. Maybe if Rafa ups his game on hardcourt. Rafa, by 2010, could possibly steal that top spot. Hopefully.

  8. i think sum months....

  9. It all depends on how Nadal plays the rest of the season. Usually Nadal plays really badly in the hard court season. Last 2 years he failed to win a single trophy in the hard court season after Wimbledon.

Nadal has to step up and do some damage on the hard courts to have a shot at capturing the #1. He has a stronger chance as he has fewer points to defend than Federer or Djokovic.

  10. He will take it eventually b/c he is very methodical. He focused on grass for the last year and we all know the result. I think he will work on the hard court surface starting now and continuing into 2009.

That said, given the point spread b/w he and Roger, he could well take the #1 ranking this year depending on how Roger performs the rest of the year. He does have less points to defend than Roger or Novak for the rest of the year. Still, I think it will be in 2009 around the clay court season.

  11. well for me personally I don't think it will take long because Nadal already won the French and Wimbledon this year, and he's only a couple hundred points away. He will take over after he wins a few small competitions...unless federer fights back. But i think federer is starting to slow down a little bit this year, not as threatening as before.

  12. he maybe if he beat federer one more time in the us open or australian
