nadal confirmed his position as the NEW NUMBER 1 ON AUG. 18 even djokovic beats him tomorrow. HE WILL BE NUMBER 1 ON AUG. 11 if he beats djokovic. IF he wins the CINCY, he will BE NUMBER 1 ON AUG. 4. VAMOS RAFA - the new king of tennis.

As far as being King, well you might be right, BUT he is continously improving his game and personally I see him as a Prince right now, Roger has the entire package, Rafa (dont get me wrong Im a BIG Rafa fan) is still tweaking, improving he works so very, very hard and one day I know he will be King in my eyes!

For those of you who don't know Djokovic has a 3-2 edge on hard surfaces head-to-head. I'm picking Djokovic in a tight three-setter and in the other semifinal I'm picking Murray also in three tight sets. That will set up a Djokovic-Murray final, which will be a rematch from just last week. I'm leaning towards Djokovic this time around. Nadal will be #1 nonetheless, just not on August 4.

Nadal will most definatley win!!!! I think in straight sets, too. 6-4, 7-6.  And what an awesome year of tennis it's been!  Every greand slam was totally amazing (especially Wimbledon) and now we have a new #1!  I'm so happy for Nadal, he really deserves it.

I'm extremely happy for Nadal.. After a long weeks at no. 2, finally the time is coming. I believe Ndal will beat Djokovic this evening (morning in my city, Jakarta), and the scores will be 6-4 7-5.

Nadal is in really hot form now so I guess he's the favorite. But Djokovic can't be taken lightly. HC are his best surface. As a fed fan, I'm rooting for Novak but it seems very unlikely.

For my predictions, I think Rafa will win 4-6, 6-4, 7-5. Djokovic put on a pretty good performance yesterday against Gulbis, and I thought Gulbis would beat him because of Djokovic's poor performances in these Masters Series tournaments, but I was wrong.
