Nail alternatives that won't damage walls?

I'm going to college in a few weeks, and I have shelves and things I'd like to hang, but the college doesn't allow any nails in the walls or any adhesives that could take the paint off. Any alternatives that could hold maybe 10 pounds?

Pick up a few of those over the toilet shelf units. Shelves above and an open space below make for available floor space. They come in all kinds of styles. If you pick up a few, you could set them apart from each other and add a bar to hang things from or add more shelves. Good Luck and do your homework. LT

The only thing I can think of is those white hanging things that just stick on the wall.  They are really sturdy actually.  I hang a lot with them.  And when you take them off the little stip just peels right off and doesn't take off any paint.
