Nail polish on my camera... help!?

My friend accidently got nailpolish on my camera screen. How can i get it off without damaging the screen?

  1. ive never experienced it before but you could use the nail polish remover (aceton) to remove the polish but it might damage the screen

  3. If it is an expensive camera, don't take a chance with anything, take it to a camera repair store.

    As a last resort, (if the camera is not new or inexpensive) Try nail polish remover on a cotton ball. Try it in a corner first.

  4. Just use a little nail polish remover to take it off your lens.

  5. Try rubbing alcohol.

  6. Try a safe nailpolish remover, with less extreme chemicals. Try to find something without any acetone, it could damaged the screen. I suggest cutex.
