  1. The same thing happened to me with both of my kids.  Its normal.

  2. Thank your prenatal vitamins. Good luck!!

  3. this is totally normal.  enjoy it while it lasts! sometimes after you have a baby, your body does weird things.  your hair may be terrible or your nails may be brittle or even your face may have major break outs.  so enjoy.

  4. Prenatal Vitamins, Are they great!!??!!

  5. prenatals work wonders! :)

  6. That is normal... be sure to take your prenatal vitamins as the baby will need a lot of them.

  7. I never took the prenatal vitamins, I couldn't see the point. First of all, they tasted terrible and vomiting was my least favorite thing to do during pregnancy. I had 6 pregnancies that went full term and had very healthy children. My family are all firm believers in healthy diets and herbal healing.

That silly myth about eating for two, just makes it harder on you after the baby is born to drop all that extra weight.

As long as you eat sensibly and add extra proteins to your diet, you are going to have a healthy baby.

I've always had very healthy fingernails and hair, this is because I eat a fair about of protein.

The major problem many women face during their pregnancy is believing in all the old wives's tales.

Protein is very important for you and the baby, this is what helps to build strong blood vessels and his circulatory system. And eating leafy green veggies will help with the iron and other nutrients. Be sure to eat plenty of salads, you and your child will need Vitamin K for healthy blood system. Vitamin K is essential because it helps in the clotting factor. Drink whole milk when possible for the calcium.

Do try to stay away from the sweets, NOT because it will give you or the baby diabetes, but because it will put on too much fat on you and the baby. Babies born weighing 9 pounds or more are 75% more likely to become overweight or obese within the first 5 years of their life.

Just keep eating right and you will have healthy hair and fingernails.

  8. mine are the exact same way Im 7 weeks, before I got pregnant my nails would never grow...now they are long and strong. Cant really tell about my hair though because it is already long.

  9. This is very normal. Many women get very thick and shiny gorgeous hair during pregnancy and nails will become very strong and grow like mad. The reason for this is the increased level of hormones in your body. I only ever bother getting my nails done when I am pregnant because that is the only time they grow nicely.

  10. you are healthy and that is good

  11. all good. my hair and nails just GREW out of no where still are at 8 an half weeks
