This place is big. All the things that you have mentioned date back to 1000s of years. It would require a guide who is knowledgeable about south India. The best place to get a good female guide would be "ITDC" Indian tourism development corporation. But if you would like to have fun with adventure then that is a totally different ball game.

I wouldn't trust these pen pal sites. Most are phony.
