Favorite teams: The England team of Ashes 2005. Probably the best bowling attack ever in Test matches: just when you thought Australia were beginning to counter Hoggard's swing and Harmison's bounce and aggression, Simon Jones' reverse swing and accuracy, Flintoff's pace and aggresion and Ashley Giles' stick-to-itiveness and ability to wear down a batting order came into operation. All the batsmen clicked at one time or another on the tour, creating another situation where if one failed, someone else would take over and build an innings.

Second: The Sri Lankan World Cup winning team of 1996. Few teams have ever shown the camaraderie and determination, never say die attitude and dedication that turned almost no-hopers to world champions.

Favorite Players: Many, but I have to go with the two Shanes: Shane Warne and Shane Bond. One single-handedly revived the art of (leg)spin bowling, the other was a quintessential fast bowler who could single-handedly run through an entire batting line-up, as he did against Australia in World Cup 2003 with a six-wicket haul.

Favorite Venues: Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in Dhaka. The only stadium I have ever been to to watch live games, as well as other events like concerts and laser shows. Not as big as Eden Gardens or MCG, but an atmosphere to match or even better when 35K people roared at once. (Bangladeshi's make any crowd a raucous one). Second favorite would be any of several grounds in New Zealand, one in Taupo has a volcano in the backdrop, while the ones in Dunedin and Queenstown are also in very scenic settings.

Lords (for the history) and The MCG (for the atmosphere).

Teams- Gloucestershire & England. Both teams are have achieved success in the past. Both teams have potential but both teams can underpeform.

Players- Michael Vaughan & Simon Jones- Both excellent players, both world class, and both geniune nice guys.

Venues- Lords and Oval- Two historic grounds.
