  2. Bryophyta: mosses, usually small, live in wet places, no vascular tissue, reproduction needs water, gametophyte dominant.

    Hepaticophyta: liverworts, small, flat, looks like liver, no vascular tissue, same as mosses.

    Anthcerophyta: hornworts, small, same as moss and liverworts.

    Lycophyta: these are club mosses, the most primitive of vascular plants, sporophyte dominant, water required for reproduction, have roots stems and leaves.

    Arthrophyta: these are horsetails, one genus left, water required for reproduction, stems contain silica.

    Pterophyta: these are among the most annoying plants to take care of, they are the ferns, they are sporophyte dominant, need water for reproduction.

    Cycadophyta: these are cycads, they are evergreen, they grow slow, look like palm trees, use cones to reproduce.

    Gingkophyta: this is the Gingko Biloba tree. Pretty self explanatory.

    Gnetophyta: not many species so hard to describe, Mormon tea is an example.

    Coniferophyta: these are the conifers, also self-explanatory.

    Anthophyta: these are the flowering plants, also self-explanatory.
