  1. It's cute! Very cute!

  2. Paris for a boy is great.

It's on my top names list for a future son. :)

    You should use it.

    It's adorable.

  3. ummm.. i think of paris as a girl's name, but, in romeo and juliet, paris was a boy, so i dont know

  4. I think that it was a good name for a boy - pre Paris Hilton.

I know that it's both a boy and girls name, but unfortunately most people will associate the name, and hence your child, with the party princess.

perhaps by the time he's old enough, his classmates won't remember the Hilton-era, but if they do... he'll be in for a lot of teasing.

  5. Paris... That's a AWFUL name if you ask me. It's a girl's name. Try Brandon....

  6. I myself wouldn't give a son that name.

  7. uhm. paris hilton........ girls name...

    i say try djibouti

  8. Paris used to be a boys' name (see Romeo and Juliet), but in the recent years it has gained tremendous popularity as a girl's name.

  9. It depends on where you live. If you are in the U.S. and pop culture being what it is. I think this may be a difficult name for a boy. I personally would love the name for a boy if it was not for Paris Hilton.

  10. badbadbad

  11. I wouldn't recommend it.

Most people think of Paris Hilton when they hear that name, so he might get teased quite a bit.

It also has a bit of a more feminine sound.

  12. the only Paris i have known is an Afro American girl. she is a darling.

  13. If you don't want anyone to know, why would he?

  14. umm thats more of a girls name if you ask me

  15. i think alexnder is bettrt

  16. It makes me think of Paris from the legend of Troy.

In my opinion, most 'place' names (with a few exceptions - Alexandria, Egypt for example) should be considered unisex. But if names like Brooklyn can be used on either a boy or girl, then why not Paris? If you like the name Paris for your son, then by all means you should use it.

    Good luck!

  17. I don't like it. Seems kind of feminine.

  18. I went to school with a guy called Paris. There is nothing wrong with that name and not "everyone" associates that name with Paris Hilton... I think you should name him whatever you like. He's your baby, so don't listen to those who say your choice is stupid.
