Can you recommend a good hiding plant that likes brackish water so it wont be necessary to net and move the babies??

And can you please tell me the name of the unknown plants I have?

  1. yes the one in the last picture is definitely an amazon sword i have one in my tank... they are very beautiful plants.

  2. Java moss is great for fry to hide in.  I've also read that java moss and java fern can tolerate a brackish set up.  Not sure ont hose other plants you mentioned though.  Here's a good link with some basic info on plants, there's a button there for brackish plants as well:

Can't help with the unknown plants, I haven't mastered the art of plant keeping yet beyond the basics.....Also, try ebay from plants.  Lots of varieties on there, for decent prices, and all the plants I've bought from people on there have done much better then the ones I've bought from stores here in the area.

  3. The plant in the last picture is an Amazon Sword. I think the one behind it is Anacharis, but I can't really tell for sure.
