  1. thats easy . the human race

  2. Its not a specific race per say, but racing in cold, rainy, icy weather.  we have lost 3 horses on the track.  But Endurance racing is real dangerous too.

  3. harness racing

  4. Actually, I think the one that I know for sure is really dangerous is the Omak Suicide Race:  but most dangerous for man or horse.

  5. They all are dangerous. This is a dangerous sport that can kill people and horses alike, in the right circumstances.

  6. All horse races are dangerous and have the potential for fatality to equine and human life.

The Grand National here in GB is often considered a dangerous race, but it is no more dangerous than any other jumps race. The fences are all made of loose branches so they brush out of the way when a horse goes through them.

Other races I would consider more dangerous are The Velka Pardubice run each October in the Czech Republic: http://www.radio.cz/en/article/96584

and the Palio di Siena in Italy where horses are raced rond the town square: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palio_di_Si...

  7. All of them. Every race is dangerous. There is always a big risk whenever you have a group of horses running around a track at speeds of 40-45 miles per hour. Horses can break legs, clip heels, or have other problems that cause them to fall and when there are other horses right behind you weighing over 1000 pounds, each with four metal shod hooves, you have a problem.

  8. They are all dangerous in their own ways. The most dangerous race in steeplechase, I think, is The Grand National. It seems that at every fence you always see at least one horse go down. It still is a good race, though. In America, I really so all of them are equally dangerous.
