  1. it depends on u. some say the fastest to learn is the piano, and alot say its the guitar. i play piano, guitar, drums, trumpet, violin, cello, and bass guitar and i think the drums were the fastest but thats just me

  2. I recommend piano or any string instrument.  No musical instrument is easy to just pick up and play a hard song on.  But easy to LEARN?  Yes, definitely a string instrument or piano.  Wind and brass aren't as easy to learn.  Plus they're not really original.  Everyone and their mom who I went to school with played a friggin wind instrument.

Yes, I know, piano is a string instrument, though it's classified as percussion.

  3. SAXOPHONE

Honestly, it IS the easiest instrument to learn.  I learned it in beginner's band and while all the other instruments were trying to figure out how to make sounds (flutes, trumpets, trombones) everyone in my section could play scales and songs.  It is ridiculously easy.  I play piano as well, and it is many many MANY times easier.

    :)  Hope this helps.

  4. Jew Harp

  5. Percussion which is like the xylophone snare drum bass drum triangles and lots of stuff but its really easy because the technique of it can be seen as with other instruments, you have to use your mouth and thats hard

  6. I play piano, guitar, and violin. I think guitar was the fastest to learn for me. Violin was the same but that was because I knew how to play piano and it has the same notes as the piano.

  7. Depends on how you define "learning an instrument".

You can learn to bang out 3 or 4 or half a dozen basic chords on a guitar, in a matter of weeks or months. But actually becoming proficient on it to the point of being able to play whatever you want will take years of practice and study.

The same can be said of almost any instrument you name.  It might be relatively quick to learn a few chords or simple scales and play a few easy songs, badly -- but actually mastering the instrument and reallly being able to **play** will take time, practice, and dedication.

There are no instruments that are fast to learn.  There are no shortcuts.

Even simple percussion instruments like triangle or tambourine require a solid sense of rhythm and timing, which doesn't always come naturally and needs to be learned, and the good taste to know when and when not to play -- which also frequently needs to be learned!

  8. Piano - if you put your mind to it.

    Uh... the recorder. =)

I think just about everyone got to play those things in elementary school...

Percussion - again, if you put your mind to it.

If you just want to say that you know how to play an instrument, and you don't care how it sounds, I guess, if you try, you can learn anything fast....

But if you want true, wholesome, beautiful sound.... it'll take a while...
