feminism is slowly influencing our society.  we are now seeing more women taking high political office and when women take their rightful place in society's governance, we will see the social and political change that will bring more equality and equity in our communities.   this is evolutionary as the barriers in gender issues break down with society's progress and 'spiritual' development.
