Name change with australian passport?

As australian passport has chip containing all information, will a name change show everytime you go through customs on new passport with your new name while travelling abroad? Wont that raise a red flag even when you are innocent? Is there a guideline to follow after this when travelling so not to get pulled aside everytime?

  1. The chip have your current name (basically all the information that is written on the photo page). There are certain Australian passports that have a special sticker on the observation page that will state that the passport holder is also known as "insert name" but they're mainly for people who have really long names (that don't fit on the photo page).
