Name errors by US consulate in H1B?

Question

I have H1B visa and currently I'm working in US since 2 years. I've H1B with error made by us consulate in India.They have put first name and middle name as single first name.The name on passport is correct only on visa there is mistake. I've social security number, W2, I 94.Currently I'm facing problem in getting driving license. How can I solve this issue without going to India?

Well, the Indian embassy can't fix a US visa. Nobody else in the US can either, since no visas are issued in the US. If the Department of Motor Vehicles is unwilling to accept your actual name due to the discrepancy between the passport and the visa, go talk to the attorney the company used to do the petition. You would have to go to Canada or back to India to get a new visa.

They must have India Embassy  in the US. You know that they have errors you should went back to the embassy before you travel US. But it's not too late you can still fix that to go to US immigration Office to asked what you have to do to Fix the Errors. or to asked them if they know india Embassy office number. visit this site to know the nearest US embassy : http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis
