  1. the only problem w/ them being so similar is that it will be very difficult to tell them apart! i love kairi (KY-REE right?) for a girl though! i dont like kai as much. if you want the first name to match try kaleb and kairi! very cute!

    kaleb and kairi

    kaden and kairi

    kolbie and kairi

  2. Not a fan, they really are too much alike. Maybe use those as middle names.

  3. I wouldnt do it...they ARE very close, and twins are usually very different. Besides, they are both human beings, not your pet toys. Sorry for that, btw, but they will bond, they are twins, after all. But the names are too close.

  4. to similar

  5. they wont bond becuz of names!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how about Kaleb and Kylie?

  6. i agree with "most people". they are way too similar. i don't think they need almost identical names to bond. i think it will be confusing for you and them.

  7. Too similar for my liking...

  8. I think it sounds too much alike. I'm not big on giving twins matching names but, if you would like to do that then why not try names that have the same beginning letter but, sound completely different?

I believe Kai is Hawaiian so, here are some more names in that style:

    Kai and Kahale

    Kai and Kahana

    Kai and Kahanu

    Kai and Kahawai

    Kai and Kaheka

    Kai and Kahili

    Kai and Kalala

    Kai and Kalani

    Kai and Kaleo

    Kai and Kamea

My favorites are Kalanai which means:The heaven and Kamea which means: Sweet darling.

    Good luck!

  9. i really like both of them !!! my brother was almost named Kai, so i always have liked it, and Kairi is beautiful!!! excellent choices.

  10. i dont think thats a good idea because theyre too similar, it'll get confusing for you, them, and other people

  11. Yeah its tooo similar i like it but very similar how about

    Kairi & Kian

    Kairi & Kean

    Kairi & Kevin

    Kairi & Kyle

    thats super cute names

    GOOD LUCK !

    :)

  12. i think theyre cute =]

  13. Don't like either name.  I have a friend who's a twin - Lynne and Linda.  Your names are similar in fashion.  Really not a good idea.

  14. They are two close

There are way to name your twins names that are not so close

Kai and Mae, both have three letters

Kai and Krya both starts with a K, by sound different

    River and Phoebe(nature)

    Phoenix and Savannah(cities)

    Jamel and Shoni(handsome and beautiful)

John, Sean, Shane, Ivan, Eoin, Jack, Juan, Juwanne, Keshawn, Keoni, Hank,  Dejon, Evan, Tashaun, Tyshawn, Yanis, Zhawn, Giovanni all means god is gracious

Chevonne, Giannella, Ivana, Jana, Janica, Janita, Jeannette, Jenz, Zhanna, Johannah, Johnette, Jonisha, Shannon, Shauna, Shevon all means god is gracious

You can pick two names with the same meaning

  15. i wouldnt name them something so similar

they are already going to be close because they are twins so you should give them different names so they can have seperate identities

  16. Your twins will bond whether their names are similar or not.  They're spending nine months in the same womb, after all!  Most twins appreciate having names that are different since it reinforces the idea that they are separate people with different personalities.

Kai and Kairi are entirely too similar.  It's okay to make them start with the same letter or sound, if you'd like, but the names shouldn't be almort identical.  You might consider something like Kai and Carys, Kai and Katya, Keiran and Kallista, or Collin and Kairi/Kyrie.

  17. If think some like kira my go better than kairi but you could also go for a rhyming names

  18. both really nice names but what about Kyle or Kylie, both very similar to the ones you have chosen so you could have Kyle - Kairi

or Kai and Kylie or Kollete

  19. i love both names i think names that start with K look nice although you want people to be able pronounce your child's names so choose the spelling carefully

  20. i think taht they are too much alike
