I remember someone once said someone who loves France is a Francophile. What about someone who loves Russia (culture, language, history, etc.) Is there a name for them?

  1. Russophile

Russophilia is the love of Russia and/or Russians. The term is used in two basic contexts: in international politics and in cultural context. "Russophilia" and "Russophilic" are the terms used to denote pro-Russian sentiments, usually in politics and literature.

  5. A person who loves something is generally referred to as a ____phile. One who hates something is called a ____phobe. So one who loves foreigners and/or foreign culture is called a xenophile and one who hates them is called a xenophobe. As the person above stated, one who loves Russia is called a Russophile, but one may also be a Russophobe. The same applies to other countries:

    Germanophile/Germanophobe (Germany, obviously)

    Anglophile/Anglophobe (England)

    Hibernophile/Hibernophobe (Ireland)

    Armenophile/Armenophobe (America)
