Name help! please rate my 1st 3 names. give me ideas for the 4th ?

ok I'm currently writing a 2nd book. (don't say a word) and I have the name for the 3 main characters... and I was hoping you could rate them on a scale of 1-10

and I need a good name (that goes along w/ the others) for a more evil and mean character... help??

Here's the deal - if you are going to be reading this person's name over and over in the book - like you do all characters, it needs to really roll well off the tounge (or under they eyes in this case) - I had to read ahtat Kamio name 3 times and I still don't know how to say it.  The Naomi name is nice, but the Shaen sucks - how bout Shane or Shoan?  Those are easier on the eyes.

The McCarrick part of the thrid name is ok, but the Rajan part not only doesn't go with the last name (an irish last name, an indian sounding first name) but is also wierd to read.  I'd go with Ron or Rick or something like that.  Also you should probably go with a more Irish name - Tommy, Danny, Etc.

The last name, something easy to read as well.

Seriously - if I picked up this book, I'd never finish reading it just because the names make me stumble so bad.  Think about major characters in books you like - Harry Potter, easy to read.  I read a book about a lady called Julia Grey - really easy to read.

The names make me think of a cheap/quick novel with with barely a plot. The worst is Rajan, followed closely by Kamio!

Sorry, but unless you are looking to write a parody of a cheap dime-store romance/mystery, I would think about changing the names.

I can't even begin to suggest good ones, as the genre of the book somewhat defines the names, as does the characters themselves!
