Name of a make a square puzzle that has 16 pieces, each piece has arrows, spades, crosses. What is it called?

I saw this puzzle at the fair and forgetten what its called. It is said to be good for education, studying, for brain excerize. It has 16 pieces and the goal is to make a perfect square. It said that there are many possible solutions. Each piece has arrows, crosses, triangles, and circles. I forgot what it is called, so if you know the name of it please tell. I think it was Impossible Puzzle or Challeging Puzzle.

The version I have seen is called the Ultimate Puzzle.

These are surprisingly difficult to solve.  I played for some time with a 3x3 version and could not solve it by hand.  I did some analysis and realized that there are almost 100 billion possibilities on the 3x3 puzzle. (9!*4^9)  The 4x4 cube will have a few more (16!*4^16) at 89,862,698,310,039,502,848,000 (89 septillion?).

I wrote a program to solve the 3x3 puzzle. :)
