Do you know the name of the small town high on a hill top you can see on your left as your travel south down the A6 in France? It is somewhere before the A6 joins the A31 near Beaune. It has long interested us as a family and we want to visit!

  1. U can visit www.viamichelin.com and just put the address and see it

  2. Could it be Savigny les-Beaune?

You have several towns on that route... I drove it down from Paris to Lyon last year, but I don't remember which one is on a hill.

A little further northwest you have Pouilly en Auxois, Veuvey s-Ouche and Chateaneuf. There are a lot of forests and wooded areas in this part of France...

  3. i know notheeng.

  4. I know the town of Sancerre which is on a hill top but not near Beaune. are you sure of the location ?

  5. une aiguille dans une botte de foin ! lol

  6. Could be Nuits saint georges too .. check on Google map!

  7. Sorry Chang but that is almost like asking "How long is a piece of string" do you honestly realise how big France is? Go to Google Earth.

  8. Yes it should be savignu les Beaune: http://www.tourisme.fr/office-de-tourism...

  9. Then go. Bon chance.

  10. I think it might be Savigny-lès-Beaune - it's not at the top of a hill but it is above the level of the motorway, and just to the left, just before you get to the A6/A31 junction. In any case I guess if you find somewhere to stay in the area you can figure it out in the car!
