Name of an Anime Show. Pls HELP!!!?

The story starts with this girl "flying" above the city and been attacked. A former detective that works on some type of bounty hunter or security finds her and takes her in. Appears that he lost his wife and daughter in some event in the past and the girl looks like his daughter. I also appears that the girl is some type of super robot or cyborg. Also he seems to have a relationship or past one with the owner of the bounty hunter agency he works for.
