Question:

Name of conservation club for kids in the 80s?

My brother and I joined a club through our local Target (I think) back when we were growing up - this would have been the late 80s/early 90s. The club was for kids, and the main point was something around conservation. I sorta remember maybe some young boy had started it, and then a national group tried to back it up.

Can anyone remember the name of that club, or know anything else about it?

  1. 4-H-CLUB

  2. Is it Ranger Rick you're thinking of?

This is the kids program for the National Wildlife Federation.  Ranger Rick is a raccoon that teaches children the importance of protecting and preserving wildlife.  He does this via his monthly magazine (aptly titled "ranger Rick"), books, clubs, a newsletter and now a website.

The two links below will take you right to his home page and provide information on subscribing to "Ranger Rick".
