Name of recent movie with child soldiers in it?

The Hollywood-type movie was made within the last 3 or 4 years.

The opening scene was a prologue to the movie and had two men driving up in a jeep or SUV. I think one was either a reporter or someone involved in a (possibly shady) business deal, the other was, I think, his translator.

They arrive at a crumbling, disused sports stadium.

Young soldiers with guns meet them, and the reporter (?) goes inside, where some kids are kicking around an old soccer ball in the dust.

He talks to one of them, thinking he is in control of the situation and turns to leave. A child soldier with a large automatic weapon appears from hiding and shoots him.

Outside, the translator cowers behind the jeep, then escapes, hiding in the brush. He goes to tell other characters in the film what happened (probably the stars of the movie) and the movie begins...

I totally remember that scene, but I'm also blanking on what movie. My first thought was "The Last King of Scotland," but I don't think that's right. "Lord of War" and "Hotel Rwanda" also popped into my head as possibilities.

I'll keep thinking about it and edit my answer if the title comes to me.
