  1. Beans and chickpeas.  Beans with rice, done Mexican style is so delicious and filling and contains fibre.  If done with tomatoes they help your body to absorb the iron in the beans.

    Hummus and carrot sticks...chickpea puree that is spiced up, creamy and yummy.  I cut the oil in mine so it is low fat.

    Black bean salad made with corn and peppers.  Yummy good and keeps for at least a week.  Nice as a tortilla filling too.

  3. tuna sandwitches, beef steaks with mashed potatoes (hmmmm)

  4. subway sandwich! lasagna(uysing whole wheat pasta and instead of beef, there's turkey or use vegetarian alternatives).. bran muffins!!! but its beeter if you bake em becasue u'll know what's in them. some of them are filled with oil and artificial stuff.

    Avoid things like muffins or baked goods as they are very calorie dense and offer negligible amounts of nutrition with lots of extra fat and sugars. They may "seem" or sound healthy but they are junk food in disguise.
