well Ganguly and Laxman are both named here but i remember watching Ganguly make a good hundred in Brisbane afew years ago and he handled the short ball pretty well there, alot of teams employ the stratergy of bowling short to him

Steve Waugh was never a big hooker of the ball, his brother Mark also didnt play the hook in the later part of his career, Phil Jaques seems to have more of a pull then hook shot, thats about all i can think of right now
