  1. im only familiar with coax

    sorry. (:

  2. The coaxial cable has a higher bandwidth than a twisted pair wire. Coaxial cable range up to 3.0 GHz depending on the type. As it is used for radio, TV, and Satellite signals. Twisted  pair Cat6 cable range up to 250 MHz. Used primarily for networks and computers connection.

The coaxial's braided shield allows for shorter wavelength signal to be transmitted. Cable length does not effect the impedance. It has good shielding against noise and less radiated signal going out. Cable characteristics stable when

    cable is flexed.

Twisted pair wire has copper wound together to cancel out EMI, ER, and crosstalk between pairs. Each wire has a opposite polarity than the wire it is bonded with. Positive and negative magnetic fields will cancel each other.  Length of wires will affect bandwidth response. Cable characteristics such as impedance and bandwidth response will be lower if the cable is flexed or bent. The twisted pairs must remain straight to operate at high frequencies.
