  3. heres the BEST cupcake recipe in the planet that is vegan:

    Fluffy White Cupcakes

These are perfection: fantastic, light, fluffy cupcakes. They are just right for birthdays, classroom parties, or other special occasions. You can even add some sprinkles to the batter for a colorful confetti cupcake.

    Makes 22 cute cupcakes

    1 TB apple cider vinegar

1 ½ scant cups plain soymilk

    2 1/8 cups flour

    2 tsp. baking powder

    ½ tsp. baking soda

    ½ tsp. kosher salt

    1 1/8 cups sugar

    ½ cup oil

    1 ¼ tsp. vanilla extract

    ½ tsp. coconut extract

NOTE: A scant cup is a cup a little below the one-cup line.

Preheat the oven to 350º. Spray 22 muffin cups with nonstick spray or line with paper cupcake liners (I like to spray the inside of the muffin papers with nonstick spray to help the cupcakes release). Set aside.

Place the apple cider vinegar in the bottom of a liquid measuring cup and fill the cup with soymilk to equal 1 ½ cups. Stir well and set aside (the mixture will curdle).

In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another mixing bowl whisk together the soymilk mixture, canola oil, vanilla, and coconut extract. Add the wet to the dry ingredients and beat until smooth using a hand-held mixer, stopping once to scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Fill each muffin cup with ¼ cup of batter. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until a cake tester inserted in the middle of a cupcake comes out clean.

Let cool in the pans for 5 minutes, then remove cupcakes from the pan and place on a wire rack. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.

    Frosting:

Top your favorite cupcakes or cake with this fresh tasting vanilla bean speckled frosting.

    Ingredients

    6 tablespoons Silk Vanilla Creamer

2 tablespoons Trader Joe's Vanilla Bean Paste

1 16 ounce package organic powdered sugar

1/4 cup Earth Balance Organic Whipped Buttery Vegan Spread

    Preparation

    Cream the Butter

With the paddle tool inserted in a Mixer

    ,cream the butter till smooth.

    Sift and Add the Sugar

Sift the organic powdered sugar to remove any lumps before adding to a mixing bowl.

Add the sifted organic powdered sugar to the Mixer bowl and continue to cream the butter and sugar together.

Turn the Mixer off, tilt the head back and scrape the sides of the bowl with a long handled spatula making sure that all the butter has incorporated into the powdered sugar.

    Add the Soy Milk

With the paddle blade repositioned inside the mixer bowl, turn the mixer to level 3 and begin adding one tablespoon of soy milk at a time until all 6 tablespoons have been added.

Raise the level of the mixer to level 5 and mix until the frosting is smooth and creamy.

Stop the Mixer, tilt the head back and scrape the sides of the mixing bowl again to make sure that all the ingredients have been blended together.

Reposition the paddle back inside the mixer bowl and run at level 5 for another 30 seconds.

Stop the machine, remove the paddle attachment and rinse.

Remove the mixer bowl from the stand.

Using an offset spatula, begin frosting the cake or cupcakes.

  4. There is tons more than animal eaters admit to or realize.

Actually a lot of salad that they consume is not vegan (because of the dressing and fixings)

French fries, vegetables, fruits, water, sodas, certain chips, bread, pastas, baked potatoes and mashed potatoes, a lot more!

BTW Kim N: Humans are not omnivores. The human body is capable of digesting plants but not meat or dairy or most animal products due to are atanamoy, research, educate!

  5. Loads are out there, but i have to say that both my fiance and I LOVE freshly baked (from part bakes or freshly made, or even just slightly warmed) bread or rolls with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It's delicious.

  6. Veggie Chili - you don't need the meat to make a good chili.

BTW: All humans are omnivores. The human body is capable of digesting both meat and veggie, that's what omnivore means. Meat eater would be a better word to use then omnivore.

  7. vegetable soup (vegetable stock used)

    grilled veggies

    Pasta

    rice dishes

    meatless curries

    black coffee

    tea

    liqour/spirits

    sugar/dairy/honey  free smoothie

stir fried veggies with ot without tofu

    fruit "soups"

etc etc etc etc etc etc

  8. Water and carrots.

  9. Salads aren't obvious. Chef salads, Caesar salads, and Cobb salads are all salads but not even remotely vegan.

That being said, many breads are vegan. Any plant food is vegan until you make it un-vegan. You can make a vegan version of almost any non-vegan food. Pasta dishes are often vegan.

Many soups are vegan. Stirfries and curries can easily be made vegan. There are lots of popular vegan foods that are Indian, Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, the Gulf... it's really not that hard. Take falafel and hummus. Amazingly delicious, usually vegan.

  10. Jack - Yes it's made from olive oil 'Olivani' you can't taste the difference.

Ummmm this would be a really long answer... But basically everything apart from products with meat, dairy or honey would be shared.

  11. Baked potatoes. MMMMMMMM. Do they make fake butter for you people?
