I know that the PBS Nova series has had some

good documentaries on aircraft including the Boeing 777

and the "Battle of the X planes".

This link has a listing of at least some

of their aviation episodes.

I went to the PBS/Nova website

and did a search on "Boeing".

The Discovery and History channels are also

good sources of documentaries.

Check there websites and use your search terms.

On the PBS program NOVA they had a special on a B29 bomber called the Keebird. It was called "B29 Frozen In Time"

There was a special presentation that ran on A&E about the developement of the Boeing 777.  It was called Twenty First Century Jet.  That and others are available on VHS or DVD from :

Air Crash Investigations on Nat Geo is a good one

The first that comes to mind is Air Emergency on National Geographic that analyzes, in detail, the crashes of various types of planes.  

That is really all that comes to my mind though.
