Name some good high quality cameras?

I want one that picks up an extremely great amount of detail but i dont want to use it on one i'll regret.

So please list some cameras? Price doesn't matter to me although i also wouldnt mind it cheap so long as it captures very good details.

Try the Kodak 850 series.  It's easy, fairly well priced, and takes great pictures.  If you want to, you can get more complicated with it, but it does great on auto features too.
