Name some very easy veggies to grow in the garden?

I am currently growing black eye peas. They are so easy to grow. Hardly need to do anything and they are drought tolerant. Can someone tell me some very easy veggies to grow in the garden? Some that are as easy as black eyed peas. Thx

Carrots,potatoes,tomatoes,squash,green beans,and cantaloupe are all easy to grow.

*If carrots are given too much water they may crack

*Powdery mildew may appear on squash or cantaloupe (leaves not the fruit itself).

    If you don't want to deal with powdery mildew, stores should sell powdery mildew resistance seeds (makes growing a lot easier)

  *squash or cantaloupe spreads

  *The other plants are very easy to grow just watch out for diseases and harmful insects

Carrots should not be too hard to grow and maybe zuchinni.

My dad's method of growing zuchinni...plant 3 plants and if all 3 survive pull out 2. LOL

Where do you live?  What's easy to grow in one place may be very hard to grow in another.  If your summers are short and cool, you'll find different vegetables easy than if you have long, hot summers. Humidity makes a difference, too. Ask your neighbors who grow veggies what they've found the easiest to grow, or ask your local nursery or extension office.

That said, members of the onion family are pretty easy to grow anywhere.

Tomatoes, beans and peas.

The smaller-seeded vegetables like lettuce and cabbage are harder to grow because the @#$@# birds like to swoop down and eat the seeds!!!

Peas are pretty easy. They grow real fast and you just water them...they are tolerant to almost all weather (they do need sun though). Also, try potatoes, and onions.
