Name that actress/movie plz?

I can't remember the name of the movie or the actress that plays the main character and I'm wanting to look for more of her movies. Anyway the one I saw was where she was an orphan girl she is a french actress but movie was in english and was a musical with a lot of ballet./ballroom dance style. She falls in love with this guy who works a puppet show in a circus. She ends up working with him but she falls for another guy first then falls for the puppet show owner. I know not much to go on but not sure how to describe the movie. I've tried google and can't find it anybody know the actress name or the name of the movie?

The movies name is Lili starring Lesli Caron. She is a fantastic actress. I first saw her in Gigi, which is another musical, also Daddy Long Legs with Fred Astair. I hope you enjoy the movies. She also did an episode of Law and Order SVU last year.
