Name that golden book!?

Question

When I was young, my mom used to read me a Little Golden book about a Man with itchy red pajamas. I think his pj's had a hole in the knee or elbow. I know the man was tall and skinny with dark hair, but that's all I remember! I want to read it to my kids, but I don't have the book, or know the name! Please Help!!
