Aside from being pharaoh, how would you define best and worst jobs?  They all have advantages and disadvantages.  

Perhaps you mean the social ranks of the professions?  In that case, Wikipedia gives the info.

Pharaoh (There were female pharaohs as well)

Queen

Royal children

Other royal relatives

Grand vizier

Viziers

Nobility

Priests, doctors, engineers, architects, tutors

Scribes and officials

Traders and professional athletes

Restaurant and repair shop owners

Waitresses

Soldiers and sailors (in the navy)

Craftsmen and artists

Farmers

Prostitutes (this would include actresses) and actors

Lumberjacks

Slaves

I think, in general, wives would fall into the same social rank as their husbands.
