Depends on your definition of desert. Here is some of the animals that live in Australian deserts

Dingos, Qaukkas, Bilbys, monitor, feral rabbits, thorny devils, bearded dragons.

But if you use the definition from Dictionary.com That states "any area in which few forms of life can exist because of lack of water, permanent frost, or absence of soil" well i guess you could include penguins as well

I live in the Sonoran Desert. We have people, Coyotes, road runners, mice, snakes, rabbits, quail, hawks, lizards, etc.
