  1. Dublin Castle is worth seeing. also if you have an interest in Castles they have castles to rent in cork which are well worth checking out especially if there is a big group of you it can be great craic. Aslo I would recommend Skiddy's Castle also known as Cork Castle or Blarney Castle in Cork.

Ross Castle in Kilarney surrounded by lakes it is is precious, and Kilarney Castle also over looking lakes.

Finally in Galway Kilcolgan Castle overlooking the bay is worth a look but dont leave Galway without drinking with locals ie drink some Guiness there is is amazing and you have to see the Cathedral, if your int9o architecture that is and it seems you are. Have fun!!

  2. Blarney castle is worth a look.  Don't kiss the stone though

  3. On a recent visit to Eire I visited many castles and think that Bunratty (with Durty Nelly's next door), Blarney (with the wonderful grounds and forest), Trim (with the moat and creek) and Dublin Castle (with its history and importance to independence) are must sees.  But I think my favorite was Killkenny Castle which was well preserved with a nice tour.  Its close to the downtown with shopping and restaurants/pubs and had a large open park area at the front.  We layed in the park enjoying the sun at the castle and people watched before and after entering the castle.  It was a nice location.

  4. There are so many. Blarney Castle grounds are lovely, Bunratty Castle is the most restored and has a lovely village with small restored houses. Trim Castle is where they filmed Braveheart. Do a lot of research before you go and decide on what you want to see. Some are just piles of rock, some are more restored than others.

  5. Dublin Castle

  6. castle greyskull is the best castle to see in Ireland every morning on cable. He man rules, but other than that Dublin Castle is nice and malahide castle is nice

  7. Bunratty Castle in Co. Galway is surrounded by a 'mideval villiage', although it's more thatched roof cottages where you can go in and see what houses were like in different parts of Ireland.  You can also explore the castle (it's relatively small) and its four towers.

At night you can go for the MIDEVAL BANQUET!  It's totally cheesy, you get called m'Lord and m'Lady all night, but it's really fun if you let go and get into it.  The food is really good, and there's penty of song and dance.  Plus, all the free wine you can drink...
