Probably China, they have over 2.5 million in the armed forces and are nuclear capable, plus with their way of thinking, death is not something to be feared nor is the loss of human life that important overall.  Plus they have a population of over 1 billion to draw from if needed.  Just for statistical purposes they could loose theoretically 1 million soldiers a day for a year and only use up about 1/3 of their population.   Just food for thought.

The US, without question, has the most powerful military on the planet.  No other country would disagree.  As to "no fear?"  That's silly macho nonsense.  Any soldier will tell you there were times when they were scared half to death.  The challenge is to do your duty anyway.

With 22 hostile nations and only one Israel that is surrounded I might add- I will say this. Man for man The Israelis are the toughest in the world and its proven time and time again. Since 1948 the Israelis have been fighting defencivly with a cross border counter offencive averaging once a decade.  

There is no way to take the fear of death from a soldier, but you can get him to understand there are things worth dying for, and when  you grow up in a place that is being rocket attacked and car bombed regulalry the fear of what would happen to your family or community becomes a driver not an inhibitor.
