Namira Salim, a France based Pakistani lady is going to be the first Pakistani, selected among the chosen 100 by Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, to be launched into space in 2008.

The thirty five year old was born and bred in Karachi and headed for the US after her intermediate from the Government Commerce College, Karachi. She is well known for her artistic endeavors, but has entered the hall of fame with this adventurous journey she is about to embark.
