    Different vegetables provide different things. I believe all have carbs, but some have proteins and fats. The amount of vitamins and minerals vary greatly.


  2. Rice -- Carbohydrates

    Carbohydrates are instant source of energy.

    Tomatoes -- Vitamins and Carotenes (rich in lycopene)

    Vitamins are essential to carry out normal metabolism.

    Potato -- Carbohydrate (especially Starch)

    Unlike other carbohydrates which are instant source of energy, starch is specifially a storage carbohydrate.

    Peas -- Protein

    Protiens are required for growth of the body.
