Name this wrongly labeled toy?

I found this picture on a website proclaiming to be the Cloverfield toy, I have seen the real thing, so this ain't it. Can anyone tell me, what is this odd creature, and why was it labeled as "Cloverfield"?

Looks kinda like the craccin which is a mythical sea creature that grabs pirate ships with its tenticals

looks like a mix of the alien from Alien vs. predator and the big blobby thing from h**l boy...kinda creepy

I've seen the movie. This is NOT the Cloverfield monster folks. Sometimes toy reviewers get their promos mixed up. Remember 98% of all toys sold in the U.S. are made in China. There is a big language barrier between toy factories and U.S. toy companies and sometimes they make errors or send wrong test samples. Also Hasbro banking on consumers to fork out $100 for this is ridiculous! Only Star Wars can demand $100 toys in their line.
