  1. Ummm...not sure what the food web is. If you are in the United States, I know we have the food pyramid: fruits, vegetables, carbohydrates, protein, fat, sweets. Googling food web results in hits for the "Food Chain" which is lions eat zebras and zebras eat grass and foxes eat bugs etc.


  2. Food chains consist of a network of feeding relationships.  Within these relationships, there will be herbivores (plant eaters), omnivores (plant and meat feeders) and carnivores (meat eaters).  As the last person eluded to with food chains.  A food web will also contain plants (producers) these obviously produce their own food through photosynthesis and not through digestion like animals.
