I like Sydney and Vancouver.

There is a lot of waterside beauty, greenery, extensive public transport, cultural , food and leisure choices.

Melbourne and Vancouver fight it out every year for the top 2 most liveable cities in the world.  Sydney is very nice too.  I live in Melbourne but have visited Vancouver and Sydney as well and would have to say they are 3 of the nicest cities in the world and you are very lucky is you happen to live in any of them.  In fact, Canadiens and Australians are very fortunate citizens of the world generally.
