Names for an appy?

ok i need help figuring out a name for a horse may lease but he already has a name 'Hank' i think it is a dorky name for him and was just gonna call him somthing eles for the lease. his show name is 'hankie pankie' he is an applossa. i was looking for an original name not like spot or freckles or something like tht

Aww dont change it, my appaloosas name is Hap, kinda dorky as well lol, and his show name is Hap My App. I really want to change his name to Happy Go Lucky, that way i can still call him Hap either way.

Maybe you should think of a name close to hank or even change it to Hanky, or hankers, or something close. You dont want to change his name cause he would get too confused.

For two months..don't confuse the issue...call him Hankie if you don't like Hank---but Walrus is right it is a CUTE dorkie name!!  Just keep it..it isn't for you to change...especially if you need to ask us..that don't even know him!!

Im sure this will get me bombarded with thumbs down - but just being honest!

Grief guys - its her horse to do with what she wants for 2 months - what harm will it do to call him something differently! Its pretty well known horses dont know there names - they may respond to the sound of the voice or the tone you say the name in - but just because you hollar "Lightening" doesen't mean ONLY lightening will come up - unless lightening is friendlier then the other horses!

If you want to rename your new horse go for it - its not bad luck - its just simply a name! We as humans change our names all the time (ie: nick names and marriage - or just dont like our names) -

I love naming a new horse when I get one!  Especially if its dorky and doesnt fit - I do like Hanky Panky - its cute - but wouldn't call him Hank or Pank if he were mine -

How about  following his Indian heritage -

Apache

Cochise

Scout

or something more unique like

Chaos

Smore

Cowboy

dont change his name!! its bad luck 2 change a horses name!

i huess its ok when you dont know their name when you rehome them but as he already has a name i wouldnt..theyre like dogs they know theyre names..and the owners probably wouldnt be happy about it.

Punti- means spots in italian

Peca(s)- means freckle(s) in spanish

Donoma- means "sight of the sun" in native american (you could call him donny)

Ahote- means "restless one" in native american

Cayton- mean "falcon" in native american
