Names for my horse?

Question

My horse arrived at the barn safely today... but I have no idea what to call him! He's a 15.2 dark bay Thoroughbred who I plan to showjump. I was thinking about calling him either "Sugar Dollar" or "Double Dare" as his showname, and Blaze (because I like that name) as his barn name. What are some other show and barn names for him?

PS: Preferably not websites, just names. I'd rather have shownames than barn names, but either or both works. Thanks = )

i know that this is out of contctect but why don't you change blaze, doubble dare or other cool names into a diffrent language? just a thought!

double dare is a great name!

i saw a horse a while ago called 'Sunset Trend' and thought that was a nice name and my friend has one who's show name is 'Endeavour' (Eddie at home). A good idea is to have a look at show results from a big show and look at some of those names and get ideas from that.

I really like Double Dare because it is a name that means you are a pair = 'double' - you and him..

Frequent Flyer=Blaze

Spirit Having Flown=Spirit

Blazing Saddle(movie)=Blaze

One For The Money=Uno

Double Shot=Shooter

I really like both not sure which on is better:)  But if and IF I had to pick I would say Double Dare!  Yep I think that's a great.

or just fun names with a good statement

your names ( double dare or sugar dollar )

its also fun to be different

you could go to freetranslations.com and translate something in a different language..

ex.

double dare ( to spanish ) el doble se atreve

or u could make something shorter... you have to get to know the horse too.. practice calling it names and if it don't work try new names

Of the two you suggested, I like "Double Dare" the best.  Here are a couple other names I like:

Dark Night sounds good

Asabache is a spanish word for a dark Horse;)

But Double Dare is also a great one for a horse!
