Names for twin boys/a new puppy? ?

Question

1:

My mom's pregnant [again, -sighs and rolls eyes-]. And she's having twin baby boys.

She and I really like the names Sexton Aaron and Mikee Daniel.

But my dad thinks that Sexton would get made fun of for his name [it means 'church cleaner' and it's from the Bible] and that too many people would pronounce Mikee's name wrong [it's pronounced like Mikey, not Mike].

My mom says its not a big deal, if it's too big of a problem they can always go by their middle names.

I think those names are beautiful, what do you think of them? Or should they be named totally different names?

My friend Leah's sister's dog had puppies over the weekend, and my family is getting the runt one.

It's brown with a black stripe on it's back, one black eye and black paws. It's a Pomeranian/Yorkie/Terrier mix.

I have noooo idea what to name it. Any ideas?

I would consider naming then Saxton Aaron and Mikey Daniel or Jackson Aaron and Mikey Daniel.

I really dislike Sexton sorry. Mikee will be pronounced as Mikey. Why not call him Michael and have Mike as the nickname?

Daniel Michael and Aaron something. Sexton is a terrible name, without a shadow of a doubt.

As for the puppy, why not call it Yappy, because that's what it's going to be?

DO NOT, i reapeat, DO NOT name the twins Sexton and Mikee!!!!! First, name the first boy, Samuel, if you want a S. SEXton. yeah when he gets older and the lil' boys and girls find out what s** is, he'll be made fun of ALOT!! trust me i kno little kids!!! Second,MIKEE?!? At first i thought it was a unique spelling of mike, so YEAH!  mikee is like a nickname!! id rather mikey for a nickname for michael. name the second twin MICHAEL! lol im not trying to be mean, but COME ON!!!

DON'T name your brothers Sexton and Mikee. Mikee isn't so bad, but trust me, as a 13 year old girl, Sexton WOULD get made fun of for his name. TRUST ME. Mikee is a great name. But DON'T name your brother Sexton. Personally, if you want an "S" name, I would name him Sheldon. It's a good name -- I know 2 guys named Sheldon and I'm great friends with them both, I love the name Sheldon. or you could name him Sam, Sammy, Sebastian...

I like the name Cuddles. Or Boo. for the puppy, I mean. :)

The first one...

I personally DO NOT like the name Sexton. At all. Mikee is a little strange too! Is it Mickey, like Mickey Mouse? If so, he will get teased big time! I don't really like either. I have a friend named Makaela and everyone calls her Micky, just a side thought there... lol I would name them totally different names!

I have to say, Sexton is terrible!  And I am all about unique names. It almost sounds like a joke. Mikee is alright but pretty average.  I think you should listen to Dad on this one.

Sexton Aaron is gonna catch a LOT of h**l verbal and physical.

Mikee is going to make people think that illiterate trailer trash named him.  Also, any -ee/-ey/-y name sounds diminutive, so when he is no longer a boy, he may resent having a little boy's name.

Daniel should be a nice normal name, but Spanish speakers and mean kids are going to call him Danielle, (I am a Dan, so I speak from experience on this one.)

I firmly support the Normal first name, unique middle name school of thought.

Don't forget to check what the initials spell.  SAG, SAD, SAT, SAY etc.  MD should be okay though.

For the dog, Rudy, Killer, Chamois, Mitt, Coleman, Webster, Reece (Peanut Butter and Chocolate, right?), or just some random boy's name like Patrick or Arthur.

1. I HATE both of those names, Sexton is cruel and will be made fun of. If your mom really likes it, than I say Aaron Sexton. Even better, change it for Sutton, Schuyler, Samuel, Saeghon. Also, Not only is Mikee more of a nn for Michael, it is also normally spelled Mikey. I would go with Michael Daniel, Micah Daniel, Michai Daniel, or a Mc name (McKinley, McKennon, McKenzie) and call him Mikey. Although Mikey would be better for the dog.

2. Is it a male or female?

Personally I think it would be cruel to name a kid Sexton. I like Mikee but definitely not Sexton! You could name him Aaron Sexton. I agree I do not think it is a big deal if they pronounce Mikee wrong. When I first saw the name Mikee I pronounced it Mikey not Mike.

Oh my gosh!!!!!!! You are sooooooooooo lucky! My two favorite types of dogs are pomeranian and yorkie (look at my screen name and you will see this is true)! The only two names I can think of are Sammy and Jake, Sorry!
