Question:

Names from the 1800's? And ideas?

by  |  earlier

I'm doing a project on the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. One of my assignments is to create a plot for a gothic style story. I have to have a main character and three supporting characters. I need some name ideas. My main character is a male and at least one character is a female. I thought:

Emmeline

Elizabeth

Marta

Gretchen

Margaret

But I'm at a loss for boy names. Any help would be appreciated.

  31. Elizabeth, definitely. It's perfect for your story. For a boy, I'd suggest Leander, Deacon, Roderick, Buford, Bertram, Bartholomew, Barnabas, Lucian, Lucious or Gideon. Gideon sounds like it would work very well for your story.
