  1. i am going to name one of my kids Sebastien

  2. i don't like JR for a boy. It's like they won't have their own identity  and i feel they will always be compared to their dad or other namesake.

  3. Hmmm, you're very inconsiderate because some people might adore those names. You shouldn't have made this because someone might feel bad if that's their real name. I love unique names, they make you feel different and not the average person with the average everything.

I hate the name gina, it's just a copy of Jean with the sounding and an a on the end.

  4. every common easy modern unique spelling name

  5. river is a nice name

and sebastian can be abreviated to Seb and thats a nice name

and "Unique names" are so in at the moment

like ifor instance: Poppy doen't look that great Poppii looks much newer and more modern [even tho it sounds the same]

i rather dislike common names actually why would you want to have a name that thousands of other people have

my name is Andrew and I really get bored of it, i would rather have a sort of japanese name for instance or at least a modern name

    like dannyn or theo

  6. In the words of Dave Chapelle... If you got hate in your heart, let it out.  This is the dumbest post.  Sorry... If I wasn't wasting time on the computer, I wouldn't have said anything, but why not get ask about names you like?  The glass is half full, not empty.

  7. Out of these....

I wouldn't say "hate" but i strongly dislike:

    Poppy

    Pippa

    Knox

    Pepper

Laiken "spelled that way" i like Laken

    that's about it.

  8. Madison

    Ainsley/Ainsling

    Ashley

    Gina/Dina/Nina

    Caroline/Carolyn

Katherine or any other variation on the name

    Rebecca

    Brooklyn

    Ann

    Mary/Marie

    Veronica

There's a lot more, but these are the worst..lol

  9. My opinion on some down right fugly names are as follows, don't forget this is MY opinion.  Easier if I list some of my personal rules first

Gender addition: Taking a male name and adding "ette" to make a female name is putrid like Shaunette. Bleh

Globe trotting: No one cares that you went to London, Kenya, Ireland or Belize, so why name or child after a vacation?

Disgusting spellings: Ruining former lovely and dignified names. It's a life-long burden! Not so cute when Kassydee is 89 at a nursing home.

Too much: adding c**p on the end of a name like Baileesyndynn and on and on and on...

Name chopping: shortening a name into a perma-nickname

example A-lex-i-a and calling her Lex the rest of her life.

Family cuteness: Everyone's name starts/ends/sounds the same.

Gender neutral: All I can say is poor teachers with classes full of Taylor's, Kennedy's, Devin's, Jordan's, Blake's & Hayden's. You might think, "but I spelled it girly!" Are you serious? Now you've not only stolen a masculine name and ripped the balls off, but you compounded it by trying to "fix it" and make it "cute".

    Whoa...now to list a few

    Rohgan

    Kaden

    Jaden

    Braden

    Kamden

Boden basically anything with "den" added to the end

    Addison

    Maddison

    Aliyah

    Ashley

    Kaitlyn

    Kaylyn

Jaylyn seeing a pattern here too

    Berkley

    Ainslee

That's all I have for now, ugly names happen to perfectly good babies

  10. Sebastien, i also really hate that name,

Arial good name for a fish but not for a real person

casper good name for a ghost but not for a boy

  11. oh,

I like the name Neveah and Ocean

  12. I can't particularly state names off the top of my head, however, since I work in education, there are a bunch of names that have become "tainted" because i can equate them with a certain student.  Like, hate the name "Brittany"

  13. I'm not a big fan of hippie names.

  14. Is there a point to this? A couple of these are fairly conventional names. All this can do is be hurtful to someone with one of these names. If you ask enough people, someone's least favorite name might be Gina. How would that make YOU feel?

  15. I'd agree with you on all of them, except for Finley, River and Rowan

I don't like the use of random surnames as first names, especially for girls, eg.

    Kennedy

    Delaney

    Brady

    McKenna

I also dislike names like Destiny, Chasity, Faith, etc.

  16. Actually, I hate most of the names on your list, except from Pax, Rowan and Finlay spelt that way. I also dislike Ashleigh, Lynn, Brooke, Reagan, Logan, London, Brooklyn, most names ending -lyn, Kaileigh, and yeah, most names spelt in a completely crazy way. And those names that the spell checker marks as misspelings.

I don't want to offend anyone with one of those names, or who likes them, I'm just stating that I don't like those names!

  17. I've got to say I posted a question about names and some of the names that were suggested were horrible.  I think it really must have a lot to do with where you live.  I do have a friend that wants to name his son Maximus, which I think is really, really bad! :)

  18. I hate Caden, Aiden, Laiken, Hayden, -- that whole lot of "aden" names. Thank God name popularities come & go.
