Names that go together well?

ok so I made a list of like 45 names for my man to look at and he's circled 6

Now I need help deciding what to put with them for middle names and I dont want to give the last name but it starts with a M and is two syllabals. So any help on matching it all with that "idea" of the last name too would help.

Here are the names:

Gavyn

Seth

Koen

Tristan

Trace

Reese

  1. Why not combine them?

    Gavyn Seth

Tristan Rhys (I think this spelling looks better)

    Trace Koen

  2. Personally I like:

Rhys Tristan & Tristan Rhys -- It's better if you spell Reese as Rhys. The latter is the traditional Welsh spelling, and it's more distinctively male than Reese (particularly as this spelling is associated with Witherspoon). Plus, if you spell it Rhys you've got a real Gaelic theme going on.

Trace Gavin & Gavin Trace -- This name flows quite well, although I really dislike the random 'y' in Gavin. It's makes the really handsome name Gavin look really feminine.

Seth Tristan & Tristan Seth -- This flows quite well, especially with the subtle repetition of the 's' sound in both names.

The name Koen is really quite confusing. I'm not sure whether I should say it as Cohen or Koon. Owen, Rowen, Ronan and Conan are similar but more attractive options. The names Owen Trace and Rowan Seth, for instance, sound really handsome and distinctive. Then again, you may have Dutch heritage and I've got the sound of the name completely wrong. In any case, I prefer the full version of this name: Koenradd.

  3. Out of those names I like Koen and Tristan.  I think Trace and Reese would make good middle names as opposed to first names.

    What about?

    Tristan Reese

    Koen Trace

I think they sound like really good combinations

  4. use the fathers name as the middle name or combine the ones you have.

Seth, Coen, Rhys are all good

  5. I love Gavin (This way looks better) and Reese.

    so

    Gavin Reese M

    or

    Reese Gavin M

whichever sounds better with your last name :)

  6. I'm particular about using family names for middle names but here are some that I thought up:

    Gavyn Archer

    Seth Andrew

    Koen Richard

    Tristan Archer

    Trace Colby

    Reese Kevin

  7. I love your choice in names, you and your husband have got it down to a beautiful list!

My personal favorite of these is Koen. I also like Seth very much.

How about Reuben/Ruben for a middle name (pronounced 'rueben') It is a Hebrew name, meaning 'behold, a son!' I think Reuben goes well with all of the names you have given us to work with here.

Good luck with your decision - maybe you won't 'know' until he is born! I'm sure he will be a beautiful, wonderful little boy whatever your final decision!

    Blessings..

    Seth Joseph

    Tristan Mason
