Suffering a troublesome start, Namibia managed to post a minor total of 44 runs, losing 3 players by the close of 20 overs. The 4-Day bout came as part of the on-going International Cricket Council (http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625) Intercontinental Cup, and was being played between
the Irish hosts and Namibia, at the Civil Service Cricket Club, Stormont, Belfast, on Tuesday, September 6, 2011.
The match came alive after Ireland’s skipper, Kevin O’Brien, won the toss and chose to field first, forcing the Namibians into batting.
