Uganda have beaten Namibia by six wickets and 14 balls to spare in the final of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Africa Region Division One Twenty20 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala on the 15th of July,
2011.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Craig-David-Williams-c51678 won the toss for Namibia and elected to bat first in ideal conditions for batting. It turned out to be a fascinating decision as the visitors were off to a brilliant start
through their openers, as they played some tremendous shots to seal the advantage for their team.
Louis http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Graham-Robert-Cowdrey-c60631 der Westhuizen was the star of the show for the Namibians as he scored 52 runs off just 32 balls in which he struck three fours and four massive hits out of the park. He along with
his skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Williams-c98034, accumulated 75 runs for the opening stand at a brisk run-rate, before Westhuizen was sent back to the pavilion.
However, the Namibian middle order batsmen could not maintain the same momentum and they allowed the home team to bounce back in the match. The visitors lost wickets in quick succession and
as a result, they managed just 148 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Apart from Westhuizen, Williams was the only other notable contributor as he made 27 runs off 30 balls with the help of three fours.

runs off 24 balls with the help of a couple of fours and as many sixes.
Musoke and Nsubuga made 19 and 26 runs respectively and remained unbeaten.
